Our History

After his service in World War II, Uncle Al Weiner founded U.S. Waterproofing in a small garage on the north side of Chicago with his three brothers-in-law. The “U.S.” in our name came from the pride Uncle Al felt for our country. Uncle Al’s great nephew, current CEO Matt Stock, learned his family’s business from the ground up. Now, 65 years later, U.S. Waterproofing operates out of its state-of-the-art headquarters in Schaumburg and proudly serves homeowners across Chicagoland, Indiana, Wisconsin, and Michigan. We continue to be an industry leader known for doing right by our customers and providing a rewarding career for hundreds of loyal and hardworking team members.

We do more than just keep basements dry. U.S. Waterproofing offers sump pump installation, concrete raising, gutter replacement, downspout replacement, gutter cleaning, crawl space encapsulation, window well solutions, and structural foundation repair. Always consultative we guide homeowners in the right direction, even if it doesn’t mean business for us. We educate homeowners about potential issues many of our customers aren’t aware of, as well as about the importance of taking preventative action to avoid unwanted problems later.
